:)BAGHDAD, Iraq - Eight months after the fall of his government, Saddam Hussein was captured by coalition forces near his hometown of Tikrit, where he was hiding in a farmhouse cellar, U.S. officials said Sunday. The arrest was a major victory for the coalition that has been battling an insurgency for months. ;D

;D ;D That goes double for me redneck, I just finished watching the Pres. give his announcement from the cabinet room and I KNOW he didn't but, as he walked in the room I could just see him *jumping* in the air and clicking his heels. He of course showed more decorum than that and made a perfectly professional, and congratulatory speech to the country and to the Service men and women serving in Iraq. Then (in my minds eye, of course) When he left the room I *imagined* him doing a little jig as the door closed behind him. I personally am so very Proud of our service personnell serving over there and I am also proud of our Pres. for the clear vision he has put forth and held a steady course on. No wishy washy and *never-know-where-you-stand* with this man. Thank you Pres. G. W. Bush and ALL of our men and women in uniform.

www.commondreams.org/headlines03/1221-02.htm If you want to read on an intelligent level instead of swallowing mass media for your regular brain washing I would read this. The Kurds captured him and stuck him in his hole. They may have held him three weeks while negotiating for the $25 million reward. When you start a war in violation of international law and introduce a policy of pre-emptive action to sell off the assests of a country and lie like all he** and spend a $100 billion don't you think you can capture a former employee that the CIA put in power?
