Yes,it is so easy to become misguided. Good Morning Gaffnoid, I watched the state of the union and what I saw was a man who remains dedicated to what he stated in the beginning. I can't say that I totally agreed with [glow=red,2,300]every[/glow] thing he said but the one thing that really impresses me about George Bush is that he stands like a man, talks like a man, and backs up what he says. I dont think that he has to have all of the populations permission to do the things he does. I dont think he expects to please all of the population with the decisions he makes, But as of right now? I trust the man much more than I do anyone else on the scene at present. So far he has done well by us. I personally am pleased with the morality he has brought back and is trying to re instate. I know the liberals (for the most part) are not really BIG on morality. It is my contention that for the most part the Democrats/Liberals are of the persuasion that "If it feels good to you? Do It!" As I have stated in another of my post, I personally am of the persuasion that "I am my brothers keeper" and shame on me if I lead him astray. I am going to check out Edwards before time to go to the polls and, some of the things that you and some others post I would appreciate a link ( a legitimate link) not some left/right wing paper. But maybe the congressional archives where these people have put their votes where their mouth is. To give me a little assistance. You see I am a novice political activist and not the brightest crayon in the box but I am trying to learn and can use all the help I can get. I will make up my own mind who I think deserves my (and any others I can persuade with facts) vote. To date as things stand right now? The current Pres. Has my vote.  |
