Just talking locally here...I think mine would have to be Blue Bay and Norma's Truck Stop! For steak & shrimp, Blue Bay just can't be beat...But, after working all day when ya just don't feel like cooking, but would love the flavors of a home cooked meal, Norma's is tops! What is YOUR favorite? ;D

I totally agree- Norma's is a great place to get great home cooking-without having to cook at home! Their Sunday lunch is the best!

I think Norma's is rather good also when it comes to down home cooking. However, there is one other. Admittedly it is not DT Gaffney but have you ever eaten at Turners in Chesnee? Love their country steak and gravy and the broccli casserole is to DIE for. Have not eaten at Blue Bay but I think hubby is getting ready to try it. He is the big *fish and steak* eater in the family. Me? I LOVE my veggies.

It used to be Sunny's and they wrote Chinese buffet on that sign. It is near Big Lots and they just put up a new sign. they have fried shrimp and shrimp with the heads on, and plain bliled shrimp, and about three other kinds of shrimp.
People passing Gaffney on I-85 would do well to stop at Norma's. You cannot go wrong there.

Fatz, out by the Peachoid. Excellent food and service, but busy most nites. Baily's Fishcamp in Blacksburg has excellent catfish and a great lunch. House of Pizza is pretty good Italian (try the stromboli). Daddy Joes is pretty good bbq. In Sptnbrg, Long Horn Steak House is my favorite. Just a few, but a pretty good start.
Tight Lines,

Hey Bubba bass, What about that steak house going toward Blacksburg from Gaffney just before you go over the Broad River Bridge? Is that any good?

Yippie! Now how do I pay?...Do you do Dutch? After all, you probably make more in a day, than I do in a week!

I doubt that, but with the overtime I've been getting lately, you could be close to right! We can go dutch, if that's what you prefer! But I tell you something, I can tell that times have changed when someone asks me out then says, " do you mind paying your own way?"....gosh..times have REALLY changed! You are true to your name there...but i LIKE it! lol ;D
